Cannon PowerShot SD950 IS The Canon PowerShot SD950 IS, was announced on August 20th, 2007 with its 3.8 x 2.4 x 1.1 inches; 5.8 ounces phenomenal body making it look as if it needs to be with cameras for 2009. The camera was built with titanium and it’s absolutely luxurious (My Opinion :)). I really feel as if Canon had pushed themselves again with this one; the body is strong/ powerful as it is exquisite and it will have your friends and family wanting one when you get it. Well that’s what happened to me when I saw my neighbor with one. Personally, I like it because it’s lightweight easy to take to parties and clubs for those facebook photos :) at the same time, with it’s 12.1 MP & 3.7 optical image stabilize zoom makes it a nice toy for out door photos to give you the shot you are looking for. The digital macro gives you the opportunity to “shoot larger-than-life close-ups with one button simplicity.” In other words you can zoom really close to prove to your wife that the neighbor’s husband really did get a Lamborghini for his birthday.

The Canon PowerShot SD950 IS also has Auto ISO shift and ISO 1600 enabling you to handle low light like you wouldn’t imagine. After you push your finger to make the magic happen making you feel as if you were a professional photographer for 300 plus years you will automatically be able to view your personal colored Ansel Adams self captured image on a high-resolution 2.5 LCD. Besides viewing a great photo the camera also allows you to shoot movies in high resolutions up to two hours.

What else is great about the Canon PowerShot SD950? The camera reduces blur and improves color accuracy when shooting handheld indoors, it reduced focusing time to freeze fast-moving subjects, so you won’t miss those special shots at your kids kindergarten school play or if you happen to be a the Super Bowl and another Janet moment happens (I’m just kidding :)), you will be able to get clear shots of people at a sunny beach without darkened faces and you can even select a color and replace it with a color you specify for special effects.

To summarize, I love this camera because it fits in the palm of your hand making it easy to travel with at the same time giving you excellent quality photos for you to easily upload to your computer. The Canon PowerShot SD950 is available for an affordable purchase on Amazon.com
