Can some one please teach me how to use a SB-800 with the Nikon D70. Cause I can’t find it. I would appreciate it ALOT!!!

I never had problems with the Nikon D70 it’s a damn great camera! If you never used it I highly recommend it, I lost some of my photos from a shoot but I think it was my fault when I was uploading. I was sick when I did the shoot for the school and all of my photos disappeared any idea why or help to prevent it? I was using the CompactFlash by Lexar Media 1GB
